First of all, thank you so much. This is the first exchange I've signed up for in Some Time and I'm thrilled with how many of my wacky niche fandoms were included. (If you've matched with me based on your third or fourth choice, I'm sorry! I'm too niche!) I want to thank you for your hard work in advance and give you the most encouragement I can! I'd be much happier for you to write something you enjoy and are proud of than cater to my specific desires, so consider everything more of a ~suggestion.
I've requested fic and art, and love both equally. However I don't really know wat makes a great art prompt (and I realize "go nuts" isn't even a good fic prompt). So the below applies largely to fic and I hope can be adapted to art.

1. Don Carlos | Don Carlo - Verdi/du Locle/Méry
Don Carlo/Rodrigo
I am nuts for this pairing and will take anything I can get. I love the disparity between their handle on their own lives. I love every second of comfort and strength they take from friendship. I love especially Carlos's moments of suspicion ;-; and their resolution. I'd love to see pre-canon, maybe a trip to Flanders? mid-canon, or even post-canon where they live for some reason and like, escape to Flanders. I'd be especially happy to see Carlos navigating his love for Elisabeth (who he can't spend time with) and Rodrigo (who he can).
2. Tortall - Tamora Pierce

but otherwise go wild. This pairing was probably the first time in my life I was reading something and then suddenly I was like "heh sounds hot" which, in retrospect, is... a lot. What IS their relationship? I don't have strong preferences, or even an idea, so the answer to this is completely up to you and I'd be delighted to read your take. Like what goes on behind closed doors? What do they think they're getting out of each other?
3. The Lord of the Rings - J. R. R. Tolkien
Boromir (Son of Denethor II)/Faramir (Son of Denethor II)
THEY'RE SO IN LOVE. I love this pairing like, sickeningly. I should say I do prefer to read it where the pairing itself is not dark, dubconny, or regretted, but feel free to dial the angst level up to a million. Pre, post, or mid-canon (epistolary? Faramir tags along? Who knows!) are all welcome. And though I do love the angst I would also love to see some Boromir Lives AU (snif).
